Booking and Confirmation

To book E&A Catering and Events for your occasion, the following process applies:

• We respond within 24 hours to discuss your event details, menu options, and pricing
• A written quote or proposal is provided for your review and approval
• Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a signed agreement (where applicable) and any required deposit

Deposits and Payment

The following payment terms apply to all bookings with E&A Catering and Events:

• Deposit — A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your event date. The deposit amount will be specified in your quote and will be applied toward your total balance
• Final balance — The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before your event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Payment methods — Accepted payment methods will be communicated to you at the time of booking
• Late payments — Failure to pay the final balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking

Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Cancellation by you — 30+ days before event: Your deposit is non-refundable. Any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded in full
• Cancellation by you — 15 to 29 days before event: Your deposit is non-refundable. A cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total quoted price may apply to cover costs already incurred
• Cancellation by you — fewer than 14 days before event: Your deposit is non-refundable. Up to 100% of the total quoted price may be retained to cover ingredients purchased, staffing commitments, and other non-recoverable costs
• Cancellation by E&A: In the rare event that we must cancel due to circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund of all payments made, including your deposit

Changes and Modifications

We understand that event planning is a dynamic process and that details may change. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable changes to your order, provided:

• Changes to guest count, menu selections, or event details are communicated to us at least 14 days before your event
• Significant increases in guest count or menu complexity may result in price adjustments, which will be communicated to you before confirmation
• Last-minute changes (within 7 days of the event) may not be possible to accommodate and are subject to our availability and any additional costs involved

All agreed-upon changes will be confirmed in writing. Verbal agreements for changes are not binding on E&A Catering and Events.

Food Safety and Dietary Requirements

E&A Catering and Events takes food safety very seriously. We are committed to preparing and handling all food in accordance with applicable health and safety regulations.

• You are responsible for informing us of any dietary restrictions, food allergies, or religious dietary requirements for your guests at least 14 days before your event
• While we take all reasonable precautions to accommodate dietary needs, we cannot guarantee that our food preparation environment is entirely free from allergens such as nuts, gluten, dairy, or other common allergens
• E&A Catering and Events is not liable for any allergic reactions or dietary-related incidents if we were not properly informed of the relevant restrictions in advance
• Guests with severe allergies are advised to contact us directly before the event to discuss their specific needs

Client Responsibilities

To ensure your event runs smoothly, you agree to the following responsibilities as a client of E&A Catering and Events:

• Provide accurate information about your event, including venue, guest count, timing, and any access or setup requirements
• Ensure that our team has safe and timely access to the event venue for setup and breakdown
• Inform us of any venue rules, restrictions, or requirements (such as load-in procedures or kitchen access policies) well in advance
• Ensure final payment is received by the agreed due date
• Treat our staff with courtesy and respect at all times

E&A Catering and Events reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if our staff are subjected to harassment, unsafe conditions, or situations that compromise their wellbeing.

Limitation of Liability

E&A Catering and Events will perform all services with reasonable care and professionalism. However, our liability to you is limited as follows:

• Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the specific event in question
• We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, power outages, or other force majeure events

Photography and Marketing
